At Cornerstone Periodontics and Implant Dentistry, we don’t ever want patient's fear and anxiety over pain to prevent them from getting the dental treatment they need. Sedation dentistry allows your treatment to be as pain-free as possible.

We utilize a variety of different techniques and levels of sedation to take the anxiety out of your procedure. Remember, sedation doesn’t always mean that you are put completely under!

How Does Sedation Dentistry Work?

We can provide different levels of sedation depending on the procedure and anxiety of our patients. In many instances, IV sedation is the preferred method of choice as it allows our patients a very relaxed and comfortable experience. Every patient is different, and we will make a mutual decision at your consultation if you feel you need relief from dental anxiety.

What are the Types of Sedation?

As with any procedures performed here at Cornerstone Periodontics and Implant Dentistry, we choose your sedative based on your medical history & individual dental needs.

• Moderate Sedated (Patient is relaxed and is in and out of sleep)
• Deep Sedation (Patient sleeps through the procedure)
